Our team were busy over the weekend supporting events for Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee in their local communities. One event we supported was a private Beacon lighting.

So after what seems like a very long year out of it, East England Medical Services are finally back doing what we set out to do....out at events providing first aid and medical cover. We have a small team out today supporting the Ride for Helen Suffolk. It's great to be back at events!

Despite the event season being very quiet given the recent Pandemic, events are slowly beginning to start again. Here at EEMS we are ensuring we are ready to provide first class first aid and medical cover at these events. Thanks to Medisave UK and Medtree, we have taken delivery of vital Personal Protective Equipment, hand sanitiser and gloves. These will allows us to keep our patients and our personnel safe at events against Covid-19.

Today we have collected our first batch of polo shirts for our team; a massive thank you to Personalise Ltd based in Witham for the high quality embroidery and 5 star customer service. We can't wait to get our team out and about on events wearing these.

Although we haven't had any events on the past few months due to COVID-19, we are still busy; making the most of our free time to prepare for when the events restart.
Today we took delivery of our Micragard wipe-clean Cycle Response Pannier pouches from the amazing team at Openhouse Products. They are excellent quality and will mean we can ensure our Cycle Response Unit can hold all the vital life saving equipment we need it to.

Great News...The Core Management Team received notification today that EEMS has been successful in a recent application for a Grant Fund. EEMS would like to thank Essex County Council Micro Grant for their decision on approving our application. This grant fund is going to be used to purchase uniform for our team and also Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Today the core Management Team visited Frontline Supplies in Slough to place an order for new medical bags. Medical kit bags are a vital part of kit for EEMS. Being able to rapidly respond to patients using these easy to carry rucksacks will mean we are able to carry more vital lifesaving kit.
